First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse (FRT)


AVAILABLE FOR SASS MEMBERS AND PARTNER AGENCIES
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse™ (FRT) Train-the-Trainer session, happening March 3-7, 2025, in Regina.
The 5-Day FRT Train-the-Trainer Training will provide the necessary skills and experience to successfully facilitate the 2-Day First Responder Training and support capacity building within your organization and community.
The 2-Day First Responder Training is a comprehensive training that equips frontline workers to recognize, define and respond appropriately to disclosures of sexual assault and abuse. Topics covered include communication skills, child sexual abuse, sexual harassment and sexual assault. The FRT Training examines ways to both respond to and prevent sexual assault and abuse in our society.
