Saskatoon Sexual Health
Is collaborating with OUT Saskatoon to run a 2SLGBTQIA+ sexual health project for youth and by youth, SHOUT.
Over bi-weekly meetings, SHOUT youth connect to the queer community, learn inclusive sex ed, and receive trainings that empower them to be advocates out in the community. Each meeting has food, snacks, activities and fun topics! And you get an honorarium ($) for coming to hang out! We've done things like a day at the museum, an open mic event, naloxone training and beading.
SHOUT values decolonized, anti-oppressive, inclusive and trans-affirming education and connection. We highlight the needs and ideas of young 2SLGBTQ+ folks in Saskatoon and SK. We know that when youth feel seen and heard they learn more and feel safe.
