We are happy to announce that Sa Kew Chu Sa'Kew Ka'ni Kwa (A Home for Women and Children's Shelter) has become a member of SASS. Sa Kew Chu Aa'kew Ko'ni Kwa is a domestic violence shelter serving all three nations in the Athabasca Basin region including Black Lake, Stony Lake, Stony Rapids, Fond Du Lac, and Uranium City.

Last week we had a meaningful time connecting with our Members from around the province in Regina. We heard from our members what is happening on the front lines, shared food, and participated in a beading workshop led by Destiny Bison. Thank you to every member for your commitment to your communities, and for your passion for making Saskatchewan a place where every person is free from threat, fear, or experience of sexual violence.

They’re looking for a dedicated, organized, and self-motivated individual who is committed to supporting the pro-choice, sex-positive mandate of our organization. The Board of Directors is responsible for oversight and stewardship, ensuring that the organization fulfills its mission.
Hope Restored Canada is Hiring Program Support Workers
The purpose of the Program Support Worker is to provide oversight and support in the house for new residents, those on observation, and assistance with programming.
This person should have knowledge on working with survivors of sexual exploitation, have strong interpersonal skills, be assertive and confident, and willing to take action when needed. This individual should be able to assume an authoritative position when needed, is an active listener and is able to create a safe environment for participants.
